Certified Elder Law Attorneys Reprinted Fall 1998 As you may know there are many attorneys who use the term "elder law attorney." Adding the words "Certified by The Florida Bar" indicates that the attorney has either taken an examination and/or met a certain criteria with a specific number of years and number of cases in that specific area of law. In July 1998 Ray was among the first group of attorneys to be certified elder law attorneys by The Florida Bar. He was previously certified by The National Elder Law Foundation. Florida is the first and only state to actually have this certification by the state bar association. Congratulations!
