A New Name and a New Face Reprinted June 2002 Beginning July 1, 2002, our firm will be known as "Parri & White, P.A." This is the date that Beverly White will officially join the firm. Beverly is not new to the practice of law just new to the practice of elder law. For a number of years, she has been employed with an insurance company as an insurance defense attorney. Through experiences with friends and family members, she developed the interest in elder law. After much soul searching, she decided to make the switch. Beverly is originally from Michigan and practiced law there before coming to Florida about 12 years ago. Yes, she likes cats even though she’s allergic! Beverly will be handling various kinds of matters. One thing for sure she’ll be taking over working with Ray on Medicaid cases from Sandy and Sandy will go back to be "just office manager." Fancy that! Beverly and Ray met last fall at an elder law section meeting of The Florida Bar. They started talking and the rest is history. You can see at the bottom of this page, we have added a Tampa office starting July 1, 2002. Both Ray and Beverly will meet clients at any of the three offices. Just as with the Port Richey office, the telephone lines are forwarded to the Clearwater office. We’ll have new e mail addresses and the new web site is under construction. They’ll be in our next issue. There’s so many little details to be worked out. Whatever is not in this issue will be in the next or the next or the next. P.S. Even though the firm name changed, the name of our newsletter ParriScope will remain unchanged.
